That said, I agree with you -g-

The curbs being canned on NYSE could argue for no cut or actually
a hike in rates. Without constant
support in the futures the markets will crash. Maybe they
are about to pull the plug. -ggg-

Tick average has been a very good manipulation indicator, since
a strong positive average does not exist in non-manipulated
rising markets (it was zero in 1999). If it
starts dropping from the current + 300 reading (it's down from
+500 average from the beginning of the rally) and actually
goes negative, they pulled the plug. I see some decline
short term today, but nothing serious just yet. TICK daily
average is staying at +300.
