I agree with you....it is a little hard for me to see either as President, right now.

Frankly, I would think Rudy would play better with middle America if he were less bellicose, but that is how one wins the Republican primary. Then slide to the middle for the general election.

It has been pointed out by some analysts that Hillary is already running a general election campaign, not swerving as far left as might normally be needed to get the nomination, safe in her belief that the faithful will vote for her eventually instead of any Republican, while she adds one or two percent more voters "in the middle".

I can't see Rudy getting the nomination without a lot of anger and frustration from many in the Republican tent. Whether he can heal the breaches caused by his nomination, I don't know. Certainly, there are many who will vote for him over any Clinton.

As many have noted, Mr. Dobson and his ilk may just take their marbles and go home...but for what purpose?
