Would you prefer to say that there is light at the end of the tunnel?? If people can not face the fact that this is going to go on for quite a while, maybe what we are is not worth defending.



There was a very interesting discussion on Hugh Hewitt the other day between Hugh and Walter Russell Mead. Mead compares Islamo-fascism to Sioux ghost dancing; it's what you get when civilizations feel pushed against the wall. Hugh kept saying, 'but the the ghost dancers didn't have a death cult with weapons of mass destruction.' Worth listening to. Go to hughhewitt.com and click on the radio clips tab to find the audio.
