Pollution is already overwhelming China -- the question is how they will respond. Some signs are very encouraging -- but mostly it is a very serious situation. Only time will tell. As for their "attitude" you could also say that Americans are the most complacent people on earth when it comes to climate change. We don't seem to be willing to do much of anything, and that robs us of any leadership potential.
