The enemies of israel have the most to gain....that alone should be reason enough for israel to do something unilaterally.

Stop weaseling and answer the question! Who benefits from the current system? How do they keep it in place? Why? Is there anything PRODUCTIVE that Israel or the US could do to undermine it?

Because if there isn't, you are telling Israel to go do something counter-productive that will only make the conflict worse.

Is that what you really want? To make the conflict worse?

If not, you have to show that you understand the parameters the current system. You have to show that there is something productive that Israel could do.
