If you're selling, I'd wait to sell until after January. January is usually one of the best months of the year for stocks.

I also seem to notice that things are happening about 2 months earlier than usual. So usually Jan is good, but I'll bet we get a decent November (that's the current Jan month), and then the last gasp is over. Ya never know, but I'd be more inclined to go into cash over the next month than to buy and hold until Feb 1st.
