GULF PRODUCTION MONITOR: October 30, 2007
Independence Hub production slipped about 15,000 Dth/d lower today to 638,000 Dth/d, but Texas volumes fell even more a net 74,000 Dth/d. Volumes on NGPL in Texas dropped sharply (33%), and an increase in flows on Tennessee in Texas failed to completely offset the declines. Flows in Texas also are down slightly on Transco and Texas Eastern. In Louisiana, flows have dropped a little on Tennessee, Sonat, Trunkline and Gulfstream. Total Gulf production is down about 1% today and basically flat with levels last year. The only significant year-over-year gains are offshore Louisiana.

TEXAS ENERGY BULLETIN: October 30, 2007
Socal made a huge recovery on Monday, increasing 78.5 cnts to $6.84. Waha was up 47 cnts to $6.43 bringing Socal back to 41 cnts over Waha. Flows moving west are up by 340,000 MMbtu while flows moving east are down by 408,000 MMbtu moving to a net receipt of 26,000 MMbtu. Permian to Waha flows moved back to the negative column for a net change of 301,000 MMbtu. Ship Channel was up 20 cnts to $6.55, or 11 cnts over Waha. Henry was slightly stronger, up 22.5 cnts to $6.66, or 11 cnts over Ship Channel. Panhandle was up 42 cnts to $6.34. ERCOT peak load is 34 GW, expected to increase over the next three days to 38 GW on Friday. Implied heat rates are in the 7 range.
