Steve I am sure that AMD will make a big deal out of the fact that #1 (CPQ) and #2 (IBM) are using their chips. It would also make intels job of pushing PB, GW and some other intel only shops away from amd. I have a strange feeling that intel might do something stupid like giving all the breaks to Dell and withholding them from others. That might create nice pro-amd movement. But of course amd should build those chips 1st. MediGX $700 toy will be great and probably capture its share of the market. But as prices and margins would go down so will price differentials between the systems. So amd should be able to profit from it very well. Popularity of lower cost pcs should not hurt amd nor cyrx but it might have some farther negative effect on intels margins -Albert
