to all,
I can't figure this one out either. I have considered the following:
1. They know something we don't, like a problem with the deal, if this is the case then the stock should pull back to ~ $47.00

2. They want to buy more. In this case they just say "down grade based on price and we don't take buy-out rumers into accout when valueing a stock" And they buy, as many here have stated.

3. Similar to 2. only they want to push price down to pick up options at a better price.

FWIW, I sold my stock. I am holding, and may add to, my options.
