Those factors increase the cost in any system.

So why are you going on and on... nothing to do with the discussion.

re: Allowing people to pay for their own care, or their own insurance (either through writing a check, or as part of their compensation for their services) is more fair than forcing them in to a lottery or making them wait months or years for treatment.

"Wait years" for treatment? Please give me multiple examples (outliers don't count... I can give you 100's of bad experiences with US health care). "Lottery"? Is that common?

So you think our system, where you only get paid treatment if you are rich or have a job with health insurance, is more fair than system where everyone gets health care?

If something isn't a scare good it means you don't have to consider economic trade offs at all when you want to get some of it. And not just because the government or some rich uncle is paying (because they have to consider economic trade offs), but because it is essentially a zero cost item.

"Scarce" implies something that is very difficult to obtain even with a lot of effort. Oil wasn't at all scarce 40 years ago; it's becoming more scarce. But you are talking about a natural resource... not a human endevor.

Health care is a service. It all depends on how many resources to throw at it. That obvious from the difference in different countries.

You are talking nonsense.
