a comment on the interesting aticle that night owl posted on msp430-(rf)id-chips by TI - we can derive from that (here : " The RF360 platform's initial product will be a contactless smart IC and will be manufactured in TI's production facilities near Dallas in Richardson, Texas. Samples will be available mid-2008."), that TI seems to use its RFAB for production of the devices - quite interesting imo - because now we can assume that also ramtrons devices should be produced on a 300mm line - and this might get us an additional edge for volume production - it's also interesting to note that TI has chosen a 300mm fab - I would assume from that they are looking also for some volume on embedded frams (and rfab is also worth to note that rfab is one of the "newest" fabs of TI) information on the RFAB : ti.com
