New C-Lock Website!
It's my understanding that C-Lock is going to be an internet based business, with no middle man. They're trying to automate the whole verification process, so don't let the small size of this company fool you. These guys have been working on this process for years. They now have a patent for their process, so nobody else can compete in the same space.

As far as the economics go, C-lock is a subsidiary of Evergreen, so all the profits go back to Evergreen shareholders. The latest figures I heard were that CO2 credits were selling for somewhere in the area of $40/ton, and C-Lock was hoping to collect 10% of that. Evergreen also has the advantage of being "first in line" to bundle those credits with K-fuel sales.. A lot of coal burning power producers are being "strong-armed" into reducing CO2 emissions, and this is a fast & easy way to take care of their CO2 headaches.

A medium sized 500 MW coal plant produces about 3 million tons of CO2 each year. Now suppose that same utility is forced into neutralizing all that CO2 by grass-roots environmentalists, customers, and new government regulations. C-Lock would charge them roughly $120M for that service, with a net revenue of $12 M for C-Lock. Now multiply that by any number of power plants, and you come up with some real significant profit for Everg

I expect to get a progress report during the upcoming conference call on November 6th.
