I think they are more worried about rattlesnakes.

I walked down to where Custer cleared the ridge above the creek moving in for his attack on 30 Indians. Viewing that entire creek area that was covered with teepee's and knowing this was the first glimpse he got I could feel the oh shit moment. Pretty powerful. And then the running fight up the hill ending at the peak with various crosses along the way. Chilling.

That and the re-enforcements on the far ridge who couldn't do anything but stand and watch the slaughter.
