I think you missed my point. The 4 million Palestinians are those from the West Bank and Gaza. The assumption was that the West Bank was, in the future, occupied by Israel, a scenario that is the basis of option 4 in my original post. This scenario has nothing to do with Syria. It has to do with what does one do with 2.5 million Palestinians from the West Bank which after being swallowed by Israel.

"So don't place all 4 million there. These 4 million stateless people are not all connected at the hip. Haven't you ever heard of breaking a problem down into little pieces and solving it that way?"

Where would you put the "little pieces"?
