INSIGNIFICANT NUMBERS -

"Employees of the top five U.S. arms manufacturers -- Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop-Grumman, General Dynamics and Raytheon -- gave Democratic presidential candidates $103,900, with only $86,800 going to the Republicans."

These amounts of $'s are not large total amounts for a writer to claim that these firms are supporting one party over the other.

Note that this is "employees" giving not firms----when one gives money to a Congressional or Presidential candidate one must state their occupation------required by election laws.

Even if employees gave at the maximum of $2,300.00 that is only 45.17 employees(people and potential votes) for the Democrats for Hillary-------

$103,900.00 divided by $2300.00 = 45.17 employees contributing (people)!!!!!

At $50.00 per person-----we get 2078 people.

The writers claim that the Democrats (i.e. HIllary is getting a lot of $ from the defense community is extreme exaggeration.)
