You can't literally put IBM on the stand. You can only put a person on the stand. That person has the legal right not to incriminate himself. Please give an example of what a corporate right not to incriminate would mean, better yet an example of it being used and leading to very poor results for society. When was IBM or any other company literally called to the stand, and when did some corporation invoke the 5th? If such an odd thing could and did happen what where the results?
