OK...I infer from that list that what you are after is a more socialist environment. If that's not correct then please answer the part of my original question about what it is in your mind that makes those countries better.

They are not socialist countries. They are capitalist countries that take care of their own in a way that we don't. Their wealth is not as concentrated in the hands of the wealthy like it is in this country.

I'm not putting words in your mouth, Ted. Your first example of your ideal world clearly indicates that you would want to destroy capitalism.

You asked me what my ideal was? I told you. However, I am realistic enough to know it would not work in the way the world is set up now. So I looking for a compromise.....a hybrid form of capitalism.
