Pete, there's a lot of good conjecture in your post, but in the end, that's all it amounts to.

You're right in saying that yield problems might not be as temporary as I suggested they could be. My point is that it's better for everyone if Intel is capacity-constrained due to outside factors like high demand than if Intel is that way due to yield problems. I believe it's the former.
