This week, I'm starting
Ben Roethlisberger: Should do well against Bal...last year Holmes lit beat them deep. I'm expecting Bal to shut down Parker, forcing Ben to beat them through the air.
Travis Henry: Henry has been practicing. I'm thinking he'll get 100 yds + a td vs Det.
Laurence Maroney or Frank Gore: I'm stil undecided here. Maroney might get a lot of carries to keep Peyton off of the field. As Manning was able to light up NE last year in the playoffs. Their defense is slightly better than last year but I'm not sure it is good enough to shut him down. Gore on the other hand has been practicing. The HC of SF has said that their game plan vs Atl is to give Frank the ball, a lot. That will be great if they actually do that. I'm not sure who is the better start right now.
Brandon Marshall: He should do well vs Det. I'm looking for Cutler to be able to toss him the rock, and I think he'll be able to break tackles to get some yds and a td.
Randy Moss: He is a must start. I know Ind is going to try to shut him down, but I can't bench him...every team this year has tried to shut him down, and he is still the number 1 WR in fantasy football.
Kevin Walter: He got thrown at 14 times last week, which was 2nd to Joey Galloway. He is definitely a goto guy for Hou. He has already developed chemistry with the back up QB. If Johnson comes back, I'm sure he'll still get his yards. I think he might actually do better, as AJ will get double coverage.
Dallas Clark: He lit NE up last year. I'm thinking he'll repeat the performance, as Gates got his when SD played NE earlier in the year. I'm thinking he'll break 100 yds.
Rob Bironas: He'll get some tries against Car. I know Ten will be giving the rock to LenDale a lot. They should be able to get into field goal range against Car.
Pats DST: They have stopped every offense they have faced this year. I'm a little concerned in that Ind is a beast and they lit them up last year. I'll probably start them, if I don't look for a last minute pick up of SF def vs Atl. Atl offense is in trouble, if they give the rock to Gore a LOT and he is productive, I think it will be a relatively low scoring game.
My bench...
Justin Fargus: He might have a really good game. I'm thinking he'll get more carries than Jordan this week, as Kiffin, mentioned that they want to give him the ball more. If he produces, then he'll be the number one back at Oak(which would mean studly, think Jordan early this year). I think he can have a better game and produce against Hou. If I didn't have Henry Gore and Maroney, I'd probably start him.
Kevin Faulk: I just picked him up just in case. I'll probably drop him next week for a DST as the Pats have a bye. I did however ask the team that has Santonio Holmes if he would trade him for Fargus and Faulk. If he says yes, there goes my RB depth, but I still have 1 good RB as a back up. I'll also have another good WR to choose from every week.
Selvin Young: He might actually have a decent game against Det...as Westbrook went off against them. Since Henry is healthy, he is on the bench for sure.
Deion Branch: He is still on the fence about playing. He is on the bench until I'm sure he is playing. Good thing I don't need him this week. I hope he plays week 10.
Ronald Curry: Josh is back at QB. It may mean better days for Curry. We shall see. Good thing I don't need him this week, although he could produce decent numbers against Hou.
Those are my thoughts about my team this week.
Best of Luck,
