Tommaso, In the US oil prices have historically traded at 8-10X nat gas at the well head, while the BTU equivalence is 6X. The periods of equivalence have been brief. You are correct that there have been some very brief moments when nat gas has spiked and traded above equivalence. Don't know about Canada.
