All was not equal in those benchmarks since the AMD's had better graphics. In the gaming benchmarks both of the AMD laptops beat the Intel laptop in 10 tests, lost in 3 tests and tied in 2.

Why didn't he compare to the DV6500z, which is practically identical to the Intel DV6500t laptop? Whatever, when I configured the DV6500z with a 2.2 GHz TL64, it was $923 vs $1045 for the Intel version with a T7250 2 GHz C2D. (Cheaper than the T7300 he tested, which apparently isn't available in the US.)
