There was that talk of NYSE curbs planned to be abolished on
October, 26, but so far I see those were in place Yesterday.
My thinking is that you
could be right, and they are waiting for NYSE to act on their
promise. It takes some time for this to work through the
system. Uptick rule for shorting was gone on July, 5, 2007,
and we know what happened next -g-
