The ocean of money is an illusion, all of it is debt, with leverage upon leverage. This debt is now collapsing, so banks are in trouble. Put it another way, the ocean of credit liquidity is evaporating fast. Got global warming? Most, if not all of it is outside the treasuries, so now the ocean is flowing back into treasuries looking for safety.
