11 03 07 weekend up date, NO CHANGE stockcharts.com A down week for the markets last week but our fund the vanguard prime cap was up for the week, This supports the fact that we are likely in the right sector and the strong sectors remain strong in hard times as the week sectors get very weak in the down turns. The link above is all the funds that are available to us in our 401k plan for Peabody, they are all weekly charts and every mark on the chart is one week. If you look at the right hand corner of each stock you can see how it performed last week or the week that is in progress. Most of the funds where down for the week , especially the small caps many which were down as much as 2 1/2% This is one good thing about following this site, you will likely be in the right sector most of the time. stockcharts.com The chart above is our fund the prime cap vanguard fund and as you can see the blue line is over the red and we stay invested, I expect the markets to be down again next week but will not likely give a signal as we are long term traders and trade by the signals, There is way too many investors that are bearish for a large down move to occurr at this time, or that is my opinion. Large moves occurr when everyone is bullish on the stocks market, this simple isnt the case at this time as every down move is sold off, this is fueling the rally and will likely continue too.
