Is the Altix market purely HPC? Or does it play in the kind of markets where Superdome sells? It seems that a Beckton Altix should bring x86 into some new markets previously owned by Risc/Itanium/Power, shouldn't it? As you pointed out previously, even Red Storm isn't single image. The largest single image Opteron is 8 socket. What's the largest single-image Xeon currently?
