Opinion is utterly meaningless if you can't back it up with some facts. I gave you some evidence for my opinion. I asked for some sort of documentation to support yours- remember, what we were talking about was democracy in pre-Saddam Iraq. People can have all sorts of wild opinions, but we must judge them on support. That is why I asked you for some. Now you have decided to make an end run from the pre-Saddam days to some sort of metric based on voting sentiment in occupied Iraq, versus sentiment under Saddam. And WHAT does that have to do with the likelihood of democracy in pre-Saddam Iraq? Because I don't see the connection.

I see your edit. What evidence did you provide that democracy was likely in pre-Saddam Iraq? I must have missed that.
