You've made a great argument. Thanks. Clearly there was no chance for autonomous self rule for the people living under Saddam's tyrannical and brutal dictatorship. So call me a dreamer but without him or someone like him, the people of Iraq would likely have developed a more autonomous system. What coulda Bin with out him or someone like Osamma Bin is all up for speculation. However, I am now leaning in favor of your view, that it probably wouldn't a bin.
