you are correct it would not be easy to close the strait of hormuz, but these persian gulf fearmonger guys like john kilduff (he is long oil futures can be assumed) get on cnbc and say this stuff on tv. a lot of people think these guys know something about the geography of the strait of hormuz and what iran could do with their incorrect geography story, when all they know is how to keep the oil futures price up. that is what prompted my initial post on the strait stuff.
