That is about 2.95 opt!!! which is fantastic!!!!!!! (~31 grams in 1 troy ounce). Don't forget that the assay results will depend on how much of non- or poor gold bearing rocks were chipped off from the main samples.

But GRAB SAMPLES or TRENCH SAMPLES are generally very rich and are NOT reliable indicators of what is underground. I know of a couple of stocks that went way way up on news of rich grab samples and 'hypy' news but came crashing down when the drill results were released about two months later.

Please note I am not trying to knock Hawkeye. I am just keeping a level head, and of course, I am eagerly waiting for more news and positive results!

You waxed enthusiastic on the richness of the grab samples without taking length, width and depth of the gold bearing ore into consideration. I suppose you imagine the ore will be also ~2.95 opt in gold all the way deep down! Wouldn't that be nice if that were correct, eh? To be sure, we will be rich, Rich!

P.S. BTW, NPA (Northrich Pacific Ventures (VSE), a nickel-cobalt play, went from 30 cents to $2.25 in two days on the news of super-rich grab samples, but came crashing down to 22 cents 2 months later when it was revealed the ore underground was just only about 'so-so'.
