I just know there have to be some sane people someplace, that can come up with ideas that wouldn't cost our children and grandchildren's financial future.... We have miles of people moving "sidewalks" at airports, I just can't see why covered ones couldn't work for town transportation.... Free shuttle busses in towns would work as well....as long as there was a easy, and close parking place nearby to grab for more errands. And yes, I think the golf cart idea is perfect... Can you visualize a large parking garage for your car, and golf carts to use to drive to your stores....even has a place for packages, then back to your car, and off to do more errands at the next place....
