Usually it's best if one presents facts that don't support a particular idea in order to get the person who believes in the unsupported idea to leave it alone to die a quiet death. That didn't work for you. So the answer is no, the population density and the amputation from the Palestinian majority on the West Bank would make a viable state close to impossible. A viable state could be built if Gaza is given up for land that is contiguous with the West Bank and that the West Bank be de-balkanized. If the ultimate goal is to remove the Palestinians from the area one way or another then creating an independent Gaza state would be a continuation of present Israeli policies to balkanize and occupy the area. At some point Gaza would explode and Israel would go in and take over.
