Nov. 5 (Bloomberg) -- Yahoo! Inc. may be worth $38 a share
because of its investments in Asian companies including
Alibaba.com Ltd. and Yahoo! Japan, according to Susquehanna
Financial Group.
Yahoo ``benefits from nearly $7 per share in Asian
investments,'' wrote New York-based analyst Marianne Wolk. Yahoo
of Sunnyvale, California, has a 29 percent stake in Alibaba.com,
China's largest trading Web site for companies. Alibaba.com
starts trading in Hong Kong tomorrow.
Yahoo shares gained 62 cents, or 2 percent, to $31.73 as of
11:19 a.m. in Nasdaq Stock Market composite trading. The stock
has advanced 24 percent in 2007, compared with the 5.9 percent
rise in the Standard & Poor's 500 Index.
