Re: "Western religions" Since the Islamic faith originated in pretty much the exact same patch of the world geographically where Judaism and Christianity did --- the world's other three great 'desert religions'... then I'd have to say that they are all pretty much 'Western' or 'Eastern'... depending on where your feet are standing I guess!
