I had something a week ago about low power microwaving of red wine. Oh well. That seems crazy to me. You can google it with the name Robin Garr and find it. Peter: What a disappointment to open an old wine and find it has maderized. (oxidized). This is a problem with old wine whose corks may shrink even if they have been laid down with care. I have a friend who riddles his just like people do with champagne to concentrate sediment and keep corks active. I don't know if it works, I usually drink wines within 10-15 years. MP
