Wow, seems like if you were in the same position, you would have an extremely thin skin.
As I saw it, the cabbie had a tone of curiosity, rather than derision. Had it been the latter, he would not have received a tip from us.
And yes, Arnold is indeed an average citizen with no more training or political education than, say, "Humble Carl" of the INTC thread. The celebrity status certainly helps (actually, it helps a great deal), but the qualifications for office are no different.
And like Jim said, if you want to vote for a real pro, vote for Gray Davis. Or if you thought he was an absolute dud, vote for Cruz Bustamante (not to be confused with Mary Bust-A-Plenty ...)
