Chen Lipeng said Mattel's recall of more than 21 million Chinese-made toys this summer "strained the reputation of Chinese toy manufacturers" and caused them to lose a "great deal of money." He is currently meeting with U.S. and Chinese lawyers on how to file a suit in a U.S. court against Mattel.
