GLG Partners Announces Repurchase Authorization

NEW YORK, Nov. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- GLG Partners, Inc. ("GLG"), a leading alternative asset manager, today announced that its Board of Directors approved a warrant and stock repurchase plan, authorizing GLG to repurchase up to a total $100 million of warrants and stock over the next six months.



The Company may purchase warrants or common stock from time to time in the open market or in negotiated block purchases. The amount and timing of any purchases will depend upon a number of factors including the price and availability of the Company's warrants and stock and general market conditions. The repurchases will be made in compliance with, and at such times as permitted by, applicable federal securities law and may be suspended or discontinued at any time.
