Letting your house go is part contagion and part just being pissed off. If you think you got took or defrauded. You may let the house go out of anger. You may think you're doing the right thing. Why be a slave for 30 years when the lender lied to you? and you truly believe that. It happend to me with an equipment lease. I got lied to. Prob even fraud was committed. I just decided to stop paying the lease and stand up to the bastards. 7 months later and 3 attempts to get them in court. They sold the loan [4th time]. lol. bastards. i won't name the bank. lol. i guess i really pissed them off because they snowed me with > 200 pages of legal documents. lol
