Further conversation with IR firm in NY:

Items of interest:

The deals with AON and CARA: These entities have agreed to use T2000 as a consulting tool, presumably paying a fee to TSIM for the rights to do so, or by acting as a reseller to their clients. The nature of the revenue stream to TSIM is unclear.

Pricing: What determines the price to a particular end-user could be a couple of factors. The complexity of their operations could be one. The fact that TSIM can CUSTOMIZE(yes, I said customize) the tool for a client, spending extra time in doing so, can jack up the price.

Marketing: Sales force is being beefed up. Company will also be on the program for further SPG conferences coming up this year. Bill Ulrich, remember, is the program chairman for the Software Productivity Group.
TSIM is seeking consulting partnerships(licenses? reseller agreements?)and is pursuing direct sales.

Beyond 2000: The simulation tool is built on a core package that can be adapted for many uses. The next product, or at least a planned product, is a disaster recovery simulation tool that can be applied to virtually any aspect of business operation-a much broader risk management assessment and planning tool than Think2000.

What it is!
