As Sun has previously said, it plans to move to a sell-out inventory model this year. The move will occur in the U.S. and Asia during the current quarter, and Sun expects it to cut revenue by $100 million to $150 million in the current quarter. The model change will occur in Europe and the Middle East in the second half of the fiscal year, causing an additional $40 million to $60 million in channel inventory reversals, it said.
