OT I wish China would slow down but it will not for many years. Oil demand is exceeding supply for the very first time on a worldwide scale. It looks like we had peak oil in late 2005. Here is a great link on the subject of peak oil and other energy related issues. Lots of discussion with some postings by petroleum engineers and geologists: theoildrum.com Specific discussion on peak oil: theoildrum.com I have lots of other info on the "peak oil problem" and can post if folks are interested.
