On November 12, we will release an early look at the Android Software Development Kit (SDK) to allow developers to build rich mobile applications ...." openhandsetalliance.com Someone's said it earlier, but worth repeating: "GOOG will be emphasizing the 'back end': " IMHO i think that means: Connecting a mobil-phone to wireless network to nearest Google-farm module. GOOG's wireless 'spectrum' will be carved out from the government's auction of the soon-to-be-sold 700Mhz analog frequencies. Of course the (Linux-based)Android specs will have to contain a 'user interface', but IMHO it will be minimal, whatever all those consortium network members come up with. And, if it flies well, the Android OS can be packaged as an App within OSX, with all(or most) of its buttons showing on iPhone touchscreens. PS - I'm buying back my 'half' (at 187 same as i sold)
