So, PAIR manages to beat the street's estimates by 1 cent by reducing margins enough to steal away a large portion of ADTN's customers. So where does that leave ADTN? Possibly with more customers in the 3Q when compared to 2Q but under pressure to reduce margins to compete. End results? Lower EARNINGS. Getting more customers means nothing if you can't make a profit off them.

For you TA wizs out there, I have a question for you. What does it mean when a stock suddenly surges in price and volume at the end of one trading day only to gap down the next morning and fail to trade above the previous days close? The answer- pump and dump.
