GM's new book value per share is now -75.
Yes, that's a minus sign. This little writedown
subtracts 69 per share from GM's current book
value per share, -6. Yes, that's also a minus sign.
Are they gone now? What about 300 billion in derivatives
tied to GM debt? That mattered back in the Spring 2006.
Will it matter now? I think GM stock might get seriously
Enronned today. That on top of the currency crisis we
are in now. Hmmm... We may need to rethink the BK. It
