Who is pulling up the ladder of opportunity? The Democratic teachers unions come to mind, by preventing so many of our poor children from getting decent educations. Not only do they make a shambles of our public schools, they oppose voucher systems which would enable poor kids to escape their failing schools.

Then theres the Democratic pro-illegal immigrant rights movement which is making our poor people compete with hordes from the third world.

What budgets have actually been cut? None that I know of.
