well, thank you very much for your responses ... concerning the metering Iwas surprised that simtek was arguing the way you cited them - I thought they were also trying to penetrate with their 256kbit-devices the area where for example ramtron succesfully positioned themself - I think the question is valid, why they haven't tried that - because this seems to get the volume market segment ... concerning the price I think - just my opinion - they have made it very difficult to have a valid prediction iof their development in the future - and so pe is quite difficult ... so my boundry conditions are equity and turnover - when I take this into account I end up with $1.25 (equity) to $2 (based on turnover) - under the condition that margin is just flat - assuming that they have to spend money to the max on r&d and product development - but don't generate losses ... just my 2 cents ...
