Here are three ideas for Discovery plays in Silver. First is Aura Silver, a Discovery
Incubator stock. I have written on Aura several times. The company is now drilling not
far from Continuum’s silver discovery. Aura holds 13,700 hectares in the highly prolific
silver and gold area of Taviche in Oaxaca, Mexico. The company and its 50% partner
Intrepid announced on October 22 that they were drill targeting the 600 meter long West
La Noria vein. The entire Taviche system is underlain with many historical high grade

gold and silver vein systems. We should be seeing drill results from Aura in the next few
months. Aura also has silver exploration properties in Idaho and Nunavut.

The second silver play is a Mature Discovery investment, US Silver. It is currently
mining 500 tons per day of silver / copper ore at the Galena mine in Idaho. USA bought
the old Coeur d’Alene assets for $15 million and went public on the TSXV in January of
this year. The Galena mine complex has produced over 200 million ounces of silver
historically. The stock traded 3.8 million shares yesterday.

Finally you should have a look at Quaterra Resources (QTA TSXV $3.80). Quaterra has
several Mexican properties with potential in silver and gold. The drill is turning on its
Nieves silver project. The company has drilled over 60 holes and is learning more as
they go forward. At least 6 historical Nieves veins have been mined to the water table
over the past 400 years. Significant historical silver production has been high grade and
the company continues to drill the prospect. We should see drill results from Nieves in
the next two to three months
