Of the top 5 carriers, ATT, Sprint & Frontier all dropped today. MCI/ WorldCom had very small gains. I think all the RBOC's took hits as well and most of the independents. They've had such strong gains in the last few weeks that some profit taking should be expected. Downgrading GTE seems like B.S. More than likely, Morgan's retail side is buying up GTE after their announcement. A buying opportunitiy...
