Dollar depreciation is part factor in run up in oil and gold ,flight to safety is another factor. Disposable income in countries like Asia and India,where Gold is literally worshipped and had to be given for dowry, have lost faith in USD.No matter what you can say to justify this, risk ratio now favors a pull back.
