I don't think WaMu can offload the risk onto eAppraise or whatever it's called. As long as eA has enough insurance or capital, fine. But WaMu will have to make up the difference.

I have mixed feelings about this whole thing. Fannie was not innocent in any sense. Fannie's actions were despicable. Fannie should be going under over this, and I hope they aren't able to pass the buck.
